The test takes place in person at the DHZB Academy and lasts a total of 60 minutes.
You will have 15 minutes to prepare and will be given a written patient scenario from everyday working life.
This patient situation is used to test three areas in the form of a role play:
- In part 1 you will conduct a patient interview (20 minutes).
- In part 2 you have a conversation with a relative or a conversation with a carer or a person from another professional group from the healthcare sector (e.g. physiotherapist) (20 minutes).
- In part 3 you write a care report (20 minutes).
You have the same patient situation for all three parts (speaking, listening, writing). This test is therefore very practical and orientated towards your specialist knowledge.
To prepare for the test, we recommend a preparation course.
The preparation course is offered by several providers.
We can recommend the following provider: www.deutsch-raum.de.
The test costs 350 euros per attempt. If you have a job, these costs may be covered by your employer.
If you fail the test, you can retake it as many times as you like.
