In recent years, the diagnostic and therapeutic options for severe and advanced heart failure have developed rapidly.
A wide range of drug, interventional and surgical innovations and improvements to existing treatment options have led to optimized patient care. However, the wealth of diagnostic and therapeutic options also poses a challenge for everyday clinical practice.
For this two-day course, we have put together an exciting program aimed at experienced cardiologists and intensive care physicians who are interested in the advanced stages of heart failure or are already working in this field. Important tips and tricks in diagnostics and therapy will be presented and discussed in a practical manner by top-class speakers from the fields of cardiology, intensive care medicine, cardio-anesthesia and cardiac surgery.
With its programs for structural valve therapy, short-term and long-term mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation, the German Heart Center at Charité is one of the largest programs in Germany, and to some extent in Europe and worldwide.
