A profession with heart and purpose: learn the nursing profession at a university heart center
As a prospective nursing professional, interpersonal interaction on the ward is crucial to the success of our patients’ treatment. We therefore attach great importance to this vital component and integrate it into our comprehensive training curriculum. Our training is characterized by close supervision from experienced teaching staff and a particularly large number of practical components on cardiac wards.
Our generalist nursing training program is carried out in close cooperation with DHZC and focuses on inpatient acute care. Here you will learn all the essential skills and competences that you need as a nursing professional to provide our patients with the best care possible.
We focus on your personal development. Our instructors not only provide you with intensive support, but also take into account your previous knowledge and personal development opportunities. To ensure a first-class training program, we deliberately keep your training group small – with a maximum of 25 participants.
Our training program not only offers a generalist curriculum, but also provides exciting insights into cardiac surgery, cardiology and pediatric nursing. All of this takes place in one of the best cardiac centers in the world.
What to expect:
- Nursing interventions based on the latest advancements in nursing science, far from outdated textbooks.
- A creative learning environment with practical learning situations.
- Skill labs that are on par with modern hospitals.
- Self-directed learning along with contemporary and inclusive teaching methods.
